Mike Irie Sport 800 Clip Point Satin CPM-154 Red Jigged Bone 4185

The Mike Irie Custom Sport 800 is a compact, clip point fixed blade that works great as a caping or bird & trout knife as well as a general EDC fixed blade. This piece comes with a hand rubbed satin finished blade of CPM-154 and red jigged bone handle scales.

Blade: A clip point profile, CPM-154 blade is hollow ground and satin finished for excellent slicing performance while a gentle taper to the point leaves it robust for piercing tasks. Jimping near the tip facilitates control with the index finger on the spine or adds traction for the thumb for heavier work with a choil at the tang for a closer grip.

Handle: Red jigged bone handle scales are attached to the full tang of the blade with a single pin along with a hollow tube that can be used for lanyard attachment. Jigged texture enhances traction in the hand while the subtle contour is comfortable in the hand.

Sheath: Includes a hand stitched, snap closure leather sheath with a black metal spring clip for carry.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
