Chad Nell New York Flipper Black Linen Micarta

A fresh new design from custom knifemaker Chad Nell, the New York Flipper is a gentleman meets tactical creation that can more than satisfy as an EDC.  Lightweight with a slim build, the NYF offers the effortless function and pristine finishing we’ve come to know and love from Chad’s work.  Includes a nylon C. Nell embroidered zipper pouch.

The Blade: Slender profiled clip point with double hollow dagger-reminiscent grind made from AEB-L stainless steel. Features a faux top edge and hand-rubbed horizontal finishing.  The detent has been dialed in to a medium-strong offering a smooth ride with each deployment when combined with caged ceramic ball bearings and easy access flipper tab.

The Handle: Bead-blasted full titanium liners give this folder a solid feel while contoured black linen micarta scales and pronounced forfinger groove offer a comfortable grip.  The back titanium liner forms a reliable and smooth liner lock mechanism.  All joined together via torx construction and a partial black linen micarta spacer with red fiber accent.
