The Custom Brad Zinker TDWC is a TearDrop WharnCliffe titanium frame lock flipper with hand made, precision fit and finish and premium, high performance materials perfect for everyday carry. This version of the TDWC comes with a Compound Ground, Wharncliffe blade made from acid stonewashed CPM-154 with matching titanium frame lock construction and weight-reducing hole milling.

Blade: Made from high performance, American CPM-154 Stainless Steel, the blade of the Teardrop Wharncliffe is a sleek, gentleman’s tactical powerhouse. Compound ground for enhanced tip strength, the Wharncliffe profile has a high hollow grind for exceptional slicing performance while the tip area has a shallow hollow saber grind for powerful piercing. Finished with an acid etched and stonewashed finish the blade has a rugged and discreet look that will hide wear from use over time. A ball bearing pivot system delivers fast, smooth deployment via the jimped flipper tab while a swedged spine and short section of jimping deliver the final touches on this custom piece.

Handle: Comfortable and ergonomic while retaining a slim profile for carry, the teardrop shaped handle is formed from two solid titanium slabs with chamfered edges for comfort and a double barrel spacer supported open back construction for a solid, easy to maintain design. The titanium slabs are finished with a matching acid stonewashed finish with an integral frame lock mechanism for reliable and secure lockup and ease operation. Small and large milled holes sport polished, chamfered edges for an eye-catching look that enhances traction while reducing the overall weight for carry. CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
