The Custom Brad Zinker Miscreant 4.0 FLF is an elegant, full size frame lock flipper with hand made, precision fit and finish and premium, high performance materials. This version of the Miscreant 4.0 FLF comes with an acid stonewashed CPM-S35VN blade, hole milled, bronze anodized titanium handle slabs and matching clip.
Brand new, direct from Brad Zinker, USA.
Blade: Made from high performance, American CPM-S35VN Stainless Steel, the blade is a classic, utilitarian drop point with a full height flat grind for a balance of durability and slicing performance. Finished with an acid etched and stonewashed finish the blade has a rugged and discreet look that will hide wear from use over time. A ball bearing pivot system delivers fast, smooth deployment via the jimped flipper tab while a crowned spine and short section of jimping deliver the final touches on this custom piece.
Handle: Two solid titanium slabs form the base of this minimalist yet robust folder with the open back construction achieved with two anodized barrel spacers and the blade pivot. Both slabs are bronze anodized and chamfered for comfort with milled holes for traction and weight reduction. The back slab forms the frame lock mechanism which is reliable and easy to operate with titanium Torx hardware completing this beautiful folder.
Carries via a (RH, Tip-Up) bronze anodized deep carry titanium pocket clip.
CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V and the adjusted chemistry makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
