The Aaron Frederick Custom Fixed Blade Skinner is as functional as it is stylish and has a truly custom appeal for users and collectors alike. This piece has a hand rubbed satin finished, drop point blade of CPM-154, Chad Nichols Brass/Zirconium bolsters and Marbled Carbon Fiber handle scales.

Blade: Built from CPM-154 stainless steel, the full tang Skinner blade has a drop point profile and features a hollow grind and attractive swedge. Hand rubbed, horizontal satin finish provides for an upscale custom look befitting of this unique piece. The design is reminiscent of the classic Canadian belt knife and delivers power and control for a variety of tasks.

Handle: Contoured Marbled Carbon Fiber handle scales are slightly raised from the Chad Nichols Brass/Zirconium bolsters, a finishing feature also prevalent on the knives of Aaron’s father-in-law, Mr. John W. Smith. The bolsters contrast nicely with the dark, rich Carbon Fiber and offer excellent character to the piece. A large hole in the pommel end is provided for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Includes a handmade tan leather sheath with belt loop for carry.

CPM-154: A particle metallurgy (PM) version of Crucible 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process. A great all-around blade steel, CPM-154 has D2 level edge retention, AEB-L level corrosion resistance and comparable toughness to other PM stainless steels with ease of sharpening/finishing.
